Colorkeeper does not collect, transmit, or store any information about you or your device on any server. There is no account system, no analytics, and no advertising.
What stays on your device
- Today's color is calculated entirely on your device from the current date. Nothing is downloaded or sent to a server to determine it.
- Notes and favorites you add to a color are stored only in Colorkeeper's local storage on your device (shared with the Colorkeeper widget through Apple's App Group mechanism, which also never leaves your device).
- Month-in-review summaries are generated entirely on-device using Apple's on-device Intelligence (Foundation Models) when available on your hardware. The notes you've written are never sent anywhere to produce this summary.
Backups
If you choose to export your notes (Backup Notes → Export), Colorkeeper creates a file on your device and hands it to iOS's standard share sheet. Where that file goes after that — Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, Messages, etc. — is entirely your choice, made through Apple's own system share sheet, not through Colorkeeper.
Third parties
Colorkeeper uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or SDKs of any kind.
Changes
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Colorkeeper adds a feature that does transmit data — this page will be updated first, and the change will be reflected in the app's own release notes.
